Frequently asked questions

Plain answers about what Harbor does today, what is planned, and how your records are handled.

How much does Harbor cost?

Harbor is free to use today. Paid plans are planned for the future—final plans and prices aren't published yet, and you'll always be told before anything is charged.

Does Harbor give financial advice?

Harbor is a planning and organization tool. It does not provide financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.

Does Harbor verify my totals?

Harbor shows the numbers you enter, organized. It doesn't verify them against your bank, and totals are only as complete as what you've entered.

Does Harbor connect to my bank or use AI?

No. Web v2.0 is manual-first. Optional account syncing, forecasting, payoff planning, family learning, and optional AI guidance are planned ideas and are not available today.

How are refunds handled?

In Web v2.0, a positive amount with a category is a refund or credit. It reduces that category's spending and is excluded from ordinary income. Leave a positive transaction uncategorized when it is ordinary income. A longer-term linked-reversal model is deferred.

How do I delete my account?

Sign in and open Settings to start the verified manual deletion process. Harbor normally completes deletion from active systems within seven days. Backup copies expire under the provider's applicable retention schedule; no exact backup expiration period is currently published.

Where can I get help?

Visit Support. Response times are goals, not guarantees, and mailbox operational verification remains a production-launch gate.
